The Tri-City Career Spirit Week kicked off in Rochester today, highlighting the value of Career Technical Education in conjunction with education partners in Dover and Somersworth.
Rochester Public Schools students and staff started the week by dressing in their brightest colors in recognition of Monday’s theme of “Your Future is Bright.”
Each day this week will have a different theme and will begin with announcements focused on Career Technical Education, as well as age-appropriate activities and exercises to follow.
Students and staff are reminded to dress as if they are going to a job interview on Tuesday, in recognition of the day’s theme of “Dress to Impress.” Tuesday will also include lessons about appropriate attire and behavior in business settings.
Rochester Mayor Paul Callaghan has declared this week Career Technical Education Week in the City of Rochester in recognition of the value that CTE holds for all grade levels and the entire community.
